      Test Smarter: Comparing Data-Driven Automation

When it comes to test automation, choosing the right approach can significantly impact efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. Data-Driven Testing (DDT) and Keyword-Driven Testing (KDT) are two widely used methodologies, each offering unique advantages. DDT separates test logic from test data, allowing for broad test coverage with multiple input variations. KDT, on the other hand, simplifies test creation by using predefined keywords, making it accessible to non-technical testers. This article explores the key differences, benefits, and challenges of each approach, helping teams determine the best strategy—or even a hybrid model—for their testing needs.
